- American Express® Roadside Assistance may arrange for five (5) basic emergency roadside services to be provided to American Express platinum Card Users:
- Towing to nearest available repair shop or preferred destination, depending on provider availability
- Jump starting a battery
- Delivery of up to two gallons of gas
- Locksmith service, if keys are locked in the car
- Changing of a flat tire, if the car has a workable spare
All costs associated with these emergency roadside services are the responsibility of the American Express platinum Card User. These services are available when a Card User and a licensed driver are present, or the Card User is licensed themselves. Services are available when traveling within the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, regardless of mileage from primary residence.
