American Express and American
Airlines offer consumer, small business and corporate
Platinum Card and Centurion members access to American
Airlines 44 Admiral Club lounges worldwide. The relationship expands the
American Express Airport Club Access Program for Platinum and Centurion
Cards, which now provides Card members with complimentary access to more
than 125 participating partner clubs when traveling on the partner airline.
The Admirals Club lounge
provides private surroundings where Card members traveling on American
Airlines can now relax or work before, after or between flights and enjoy
personalized, professional service from club staff. Club amenities include,
depending on location:
-- Conference rooms
-- High-speed Wi-Fi access at all domestic locations through a
subscription to T-Mobile
-- Showers
-- Cyber cafe
-- Lenovo PCs with complimentary high-speed Internet access
-- Complimentary light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
-- Food for purchase and bar services
-- Children's room
-- Music rooms at LAX, MIA D and DFW A locations
-- Complimentary Wi-Fi in most international lounges
To take advantage of the Card benefit, Card members
simply present the club representative with their Platinum or Centurion
Card, a ticket valid for same-day travel on the corresponding airline that
is operating the flight, and a government-issued ID. Spouse and children,
or up to two traveling companions, can join the Card member as guests in
the airport lounges.
American Airlines opened the industry's first VIP lounge in 1939 at
LaGuardia Airport in New York, forever changing travel at airports. The
Admirals Club lounge has become synonymous with productivity, comfort and
convenience at major airports through the United States, Canada, the
Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Card members will have the opportunity to access Admirals Clubs in the
following airport locations: Atlanta, Austin, Bogota, Boston, Buenos Aires,
Caracas, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Frankfurt, Honolulu, Kansas
City, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Nashville, Newark,
New York Kennedy, New York LaGuardia, Orange County, Panama City, Paris,
Philadelphia, Raleigh/Durham, Rio de Janeiro, San Diego, San Francisco, San
Jose, San Juan, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Sao Paulo, St. Louis, Tokyo,
Toronto, Washington, D.C. Dulles, Washington, D.C. Reagan.
